Kristina Doležalová je doktorandkou na Ústavu pro klasickou archeologii FF UK v Praze od roku 2023. V roce 2020 získala bakalářský titul v oboru geologie-klasická archeologie. Bakalářská práce byla zaměřena na téma „Broušená industrie v Egejské oblasti v době bronzové“. Ve své práci pokračovala a začala se specializovat na studium mlecích kamenů. V roce 2022 získala finanční podporu na projekt GAUK 94322 s názvem „Komplexní studium mlecích kamenů z lokality Kaymakçı z doby bronzové“. Další rok ukončila magisterské studium diplomovou prací s názvem „O vulkanických horninách: Mlecí kameny a jejich operační řetězec z období 2. tisíciletí př. n. l. v západní Anatólii. Její PhD. projekt vedený Jaroslavem Řídkým (Archeologický ústav AV ČR, Praha) navazuje na magisterskou práci a je zaměřen na výrobu a využití mlecích kamenů z oblasti Anatolie a klade si za cíl pochopit, jak je jejich životní cyklus ovlivněn výběrem suroviny. Ve své práci se orientuje na studium mlecích kamenů, zejména na traseologickou a provenienční analýzu. Účastnila se již mnoha mezinárodních archeologických výzkumů v Turecku (Kaymakçı, Gűvercinkayası, Tepecik Çiftlik, Yumuktepe-Mersin, jeskyně Eşek Deresi). Od roku 2023 je zapojena do projektu Shaqadud jako specialistka na traseologickou analýzu kamenných artefaktů z mezoliticko-neolitické lokality ze Súdánu.
Kristina Doležalová is the PhD. student at the Institute of Classical Archeology of the Charles University in Prague from 2023. She received bachelor’s degree in Geology-Classical archaeology in 2020. The bachelor thesis was focused on the topic “Ground Stones of the Aegean Bronze Age”. She continued with her work and started to specialize on the study of grinding stones. In 2022, she received the financial support for her project GAUK 94322 called “Comprehensive study of grinding stones from the Bronze Age site Kaymakçı”. The following year, she finished her master’s studies with the thesis named “The tale of volcanic rocks: Assessing the grinding stones and their chaîne opératoire in 2nd Millennium BC Western Anatolia”. Her PhD. project supervised by Jaroslav Řídký (Institute of Archaeology of the CAS, Prague) builds on her master’s thesis and is focused on the production and utilization of grinding stones from the region Anatolia and aims to understand, how is their life cycle affected by the selection of raw material. She is specialized in the study of ground stones, especially, the use-wear and provenance analysis carried on the stone artefacts. She has already participated in many international archaeological surveys in Turkey (Kaymakçı, Gűvercinkayası, Tepecik Çiftlik, Yumuktepe-Mersin, Eşek Deresi Cave). Since 2023, she is engaged as the specialist on the use-wear analysis of the ground stones from the mesolithic-neolithic Sudan site in the Shaqadud Project (Sudan).
